Sodium Butyrate（丁酸钠）是一种短链脂肪酸，抑制HDACs活性，在分子、细胞和组织水平都发挥重要作用。Sodium Butyrate诱导癌细胞生长阻断、分化和凋亡，抑制细胞增殖。Sodium Butyrate预防高脂饲料诱导的代谢变化，在糖尿病模型中降低血糖，提高血浆中胰岛素水平和糖平衡，并提高beta细胞增殖。另外，Sodium Butyrate通过降低前炎症因子表达如INF-γ、IL-6、IL-1β等来抑制炎症反应。
