白细胞介素 17 (IL-17) 家族蛋白由六个成员（IL-17A 至 IL-17F）组成，是分泌性结构相关蛋白，它们在 C 端附近具有保守的胱氨酸结折叠，但在 N 端具有相当大的序列差异。IL-17F 是 IL17RA 和 IL17RC 的配体。IL17A 和 IL17F 形成的异二聚体是 IL17RA 和 IL17RC 形成的异二聚体复合物的配体。参与刺激其他细胞因子（如 IL6、IL8 和 CSF2）的产生，并调节软骨基质周转。
