双氯芬酸二乙胺是一种有效的非选择性COX抑制剂，在CHO细胞中对人源COX-1和COX-2的IC50值分别为4 nM和1.3 nM，对绵羊来源的COX-1和COX-2的IC50值分别为5.1 μM和0.84 μM；此外，它还能通过激活caspase级联反应诱导神经干细胞凋亡。
